Waylon was very involved in FFA (Future Farmers of America Association), 4H and agriculture throughout his life. He was a participant in several county fairs including Weld County, Larimer County, Boulder County and the State Fair. His main focus was in Market Hogs where he was a Grand Champion in Showmanship in the Boulder County Fair in 2011.

Waylon was a wonderful young man who was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone. He was a very generous and outgoing person who got along with everyone, and was very supportive in helping younger generations with their efforts in agriculture. In remembrance of him and his generosity, we have started a scholarship foundation to assist graduating seniors that are involved in FFA programs in our area. Since the foundation was started we have donated over $60,000 to youth scholarships and youth organizations.
Waylon graduated high school in 2011 and took a year off from school to decide what he wanted for his future. He was accepted to CSU for the fall 2012 semester and was going to pursue a degree in agronomy and Ag Business. We have set up this scholarship foundation to keep his memory alive and assist graduating seniors in Colorado pursue their dreams in higher education on an annual basis.
We have dedicated this site to Waylon and his scholarship foundation. If you knew Waylon you know what a wonderful person he was and how many lives he touched. Thank you for being a part of his and our lives. This scholarship foundation would not be possible without so many contributors. We would like to thank everyone who contributes to the foundation. Thanks for visiting our site
